Universal Postal Union (UPU) has invited the member countries to establish bilateral cooperation with POST BANK IRAN via IFS system According to Circular NO.152 on 2017 November 27th , Universal Postal Union (UPU) has invited the member countries to establish bilateral cooperation with POST BANK IRAN via IFS system.

According to mentioned Circular, PBI has now launched the International Financial System (IFS) application so it invites designated operators to consider signing bilateral cooperation agreements in this regard.
Meanwhile the circular mentioned that Post Bank Iran has been selected as the sole financial postal services operator in Iran, PBI provides a wide range of banking services via its 406 branches and 8000 offices in rural and urban areas of Iran.
Universal Postal Union (UPU)
UPU established in 1874, the Universal Postal Union (UPU) has its headquarters in Berne, Switzerland’s capital. It is the world’s second oldest intergovernmental organization and has been a United Nations specialized agency since 1948.
The UPU, composed of 192 member countries, is the primary forum for cooperation between governments, Posts, Post Banks, regulators and many other postal-sector stakeholders.
